In recent years,China's building ceramics production increased year by year,and the quality is also significantly improved.The measurement of the ceramic tile size is still in the level of artificial measurement and that has become a bottleneck restricting the development of ceramic industry due to its low degree of automation.This subject which name is Study on geometric dimension measurement method of building ceramic tile comes from the research project of Hebei Institute of automation.This paper illustrated the signification of online detection of ceramic tile products,analyzed the technology of laser ranging,and also analyzed and compared the measurement methods used in the existing testing equipment.Aiming at the problems existing in the ceramic tile online inspection technology,a new method based on laser triangulation is proposed in this paper,and this method can realize the real-time,on-line and high precision measurement of ceramic tiles.In the aspect of sensor,this paper introduces the detection principle of LG5A65 UN in detail,and the method uses least squares method to calibrate the sensor and obtains the output characteristic curve at last.It effectively solved the problem of the deviation between the theoretical output characteristic of the sensor and the actual detection value.The delivery device achieved that the ceramic tiles can be transmitted smoothly and the detection module can do reciprocating motion by the subdividing-drive of Step-motor.Improving the installation mode of backup rolls effectively solved the problem that the ceramic tiles trapped in the conveyor belt in the transmission process and obtains a good effect.In order to eliminate the noise interference and improve signal-to-noise ratio,we designed a filtering system based on wavelet transform and achieved it by the method of mixed programming based on Matlab and LabVIEW,and this method can bring significant noise reduction effect.The object in repeated measurement test is polished tile which is common on the market,and the specification of the object is1000*1000mm.Experimental results show that the measurement system has good practicability and reaches even exceeds the requirements of national standards in terms of accuracy.
