In twenty-first Century,with the prosperity of commercial consumption,the body of women returned to the aesthetic vision and life of the masses.This is almost an era of physical consumption,from the face to the body,are considered to be able to modify the processing platform,weight loss is no longer the exclusive rights of fat people,but became the common goal of all women.Special material,with partial body go over consumption and social gender culture construction,the female body mass index has become more and more normal "spell thin gens",let women become thin fashion lifestyle.In this paper,with the modern women's slimming activities as the research object,the author intends to combine the mass media perspective,body image and body aesthetics into a study of female downsizing.Quoted in the article body image theory,body aesthetics theory,theory of social culture construction theory and the effect of mass media to analyzing modern social women slimming activities,and through the questionnaire and interviews were investigated before and after slimming psychological factors and behavioral effects and other aspects from them,through their to find the words of modern women for self physical and cognitive changes for common perception of beauty,and hope to be able to guide behind the mass media and the modern women in the social and cultural construction and commercial consumption,find a new way out of the female body,rather than still object as the aesthetic object to men,hoping to get more women pick up the body consciousness,rather than blindly follow the crowd,and hope that the media can bear the weight of information transfer Bear,do a good job gatekeeper role,promote the healthy development of women's thin green.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The female's body is subordinate in the patriarchal society.As the object of the female body,it has been continuously constructed by the society,forming a slim and slim ideal female body standard.2.Mass media play a role in promoting women's weight loss.The symbolic reality created by the mass media has caused the cognitive deviation of women's subjective reality,so how to convey the healthy aesthetic information is worthy of thinking of all the mass media.3.Modern women lack the consciousness of self body.Women should not blindly cater to people's aesthetic,to learn to say no,to take the initiative to get control of the body,do not become a prisoner of gender construction "".4.Modern women need to rationally choose healthy and green weight-loss methods.In the face of the lack of unified management of women's beauty industry,modern women should calmly and objectively look at the temptation of commercial consumption,choose a healthy way to lose weight,must not be quick success.
