Research on body image began during the 20th century, clinical psychology, 30 in the field of eating disorders, the latter gradually expanded the scope of the study. In the field of social psychology, research focuses on body image and social behavior and social relationship between cultural factors. The mass media in which a large number of women filled with the ideal body image for women the impact of body image is a study of the past five years a hot issue.On the other hand, Implicit Association Test (IAT) to enable the introduction of structures to explore body image was a lot of development, the study found that, in the cognitive dimension, the existence of implicit and explicit two different body image level.In this study, IAT research paradigm, combined with the questionnaire method to study the media in the face of female university students appear in the image of the ideal female body, the body image, including implicit and explicit dimensions of how the changes occur, and to explore the text and picture material IAT measuring the difference in the results/ In the theoretical analysis of the papers on the concept of body image, structure, measurement method, the impact of factors related to body image formation theory analysis. In the analysis of the current literature on the basis of the research to build the framework of this paper.Part in the experiment, 120 female college students were exposed to thin ideal female body contains the image of the media environment, or as a contrast to the media image of non-physical environment, two different materials through the IAT test and by questionnaire to measure implicit and explicit body image. The results showed that:1. In the face of the media in the thin ideal body image of female stimulation, female university students explicit body image changes in different dimensions are different: to reduce the appearance of the evaluation; the appearance of increased evaluation; satisfaction with various parts are not changed significantly.2. Explicit the different dimensions of body image to the media to stimulate the sensitivity of high to low as follows: appearance orientation, appearance evaluation, satisfaction with the various parts.3. Implicit body image of the group main effect was not significant, that is, in the face of the media in the thin ideal body image of female stimulation, female college students implicit body image is relatively stable. Materials and no significant interaction between groups.4. For the implicit measurement of body image, picture material and text material IAT effects were significantly different, more obvious effect of the text material.4. Implicit body image of a significant main effect of materials, pictures of the IAT effect material is less than the text material. Implicit in the negative body image on the identification, pictures, text material than the sensitive material.
