Network news media has become the “fourth major news media” after newspapers,radio,television and other traditional media,the mainstream of network news media also makes the network news become the main object of news consumption.But,the study on the news consumption and the network news consumption has been lagging behind the western countries,however,under the background of the era of Internet consumption,the particularity and importance of network news consumption is becoming more and more prominent which makes the study of network news consumption can not be ignored.At the same time,news consumption is an important prerequisite for the survival and development of Journalism,however,news consumption is not only controlled by news producers,news consumers play a more important role in consumption activities,therefore it is an indispensable research direction and perspective to study the issue of news consumption from the perspective of consumers.News is a kind of spiritual product created by journalists,its consumption process includes two aspects: material consumption and spiritual consumption,but in the past,scholars often pay more attention to the economic benefits while ignoring the consumer's consumption process.This paper choose the spiritual process of news consumption as the conceptual basis of the study analyzed the network news consumption from the perspective of consumers.This paper selects the college students in Jilin Province as the object of study,analyzed the characteristics of consumer psychology,such as demand and motivation etc.through the form of questionnaire,and explore the factors which affect the consumer psychology through the psychological characteristics,then through the data results which showed that college students on the network news reporting channels,the content of the reports and the choice of the form of the reporting to summarize the behavioral characteristics of college students' consumption the network news.While the analysis of thecharacteristics of college students' consumption network news,then based on the data,this paper constructs the model of college students' psychology and behavior of network news consumption by using statistical analysis methods such as cross analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,in order to describe and explain the psychological and behavioral process of college students' consumer network news directly and concisely.College students as the main force of network news consumption and the backbone of the country's future development,the psychological and behavioral characteristics of college students' network news consumption will also provide some inspiration for the development of China's network news communication and the development of the network journalism.
