With the advent of the industrialization 4.0,intellectualization,automation has become a key factor in boosting a new industrial takeoff especially in the cement sector.Pre-homogenized yard,as a warehouse for the distribution and storage of cement,plays a vital role in the production of cement.However,due to the strong fluidity and variability of the materials in the pre-homogenized yard,compounded by the bad industrial environment and dense dust,the volume measurement is hardly as accurate as automatic measurement.Therefore,it is very important to design a set of automatic measurement system for pre-homogenized yards so as to accurately,quickly and efficiently measure and display the three-dimensional image of materials.In this system,data collected from the point cloud data acquisition subsystem,including the distance collected by the laser range finder,the distance by the horizontal stepping motor,the angle and the track segment by the vertical stepping motor,are transmitted to the data forwarding and display subsystem through the ESP8266 wireless module transmitter according to certain communication protocols.The ESP8266 wireless module receiver transmits the data by the internet according to the agreed communication protocol to the server,the program of which will store the data in the MySQL database in real time.When all the point cloud raw data are collected,they will be processed according to the three-dimensional space coordinate transformation formula,so the three-dimensional spatial point cloud coordinate set will be obtained,and then the entire surface of the scan could be obtained by three-dimensional space scattered point interpolation algorithm,meanwhile the corresponding simulation of three-dimensional images and the material volume could be obtained,which will be stored in the MySQL database for easier access for the staff.The paper mainly completes the overall design of the system Hardware includes mechanical structure design,hardware circuit component modules,chip selection,circuit diagram and PCB design.In the software part,C language is adopted in the programmin of the point cloud data collection subsystem,the level motor driving subsystem,and the data forwarding and display subsystem,as well as the design of the communication protocol.At the same time,complete the system communication protocol designserver-side application,database design and client application.The Linux system realizes database acces and interface display at the data transmitter.Mtalab is used for simulatio and research on the three-dimensional coordinates conversion of the point cloud data as well as the space scattered point interpolation algorithm.After the system design is completed,the system is tested.The test results show that the system successfully performs data collection,transmission,processing,storage,query and system control of the surface information of the material pile.The accuracy and stability of the system in the laboratory environment meets the demands of cement production.
