| Since the beginning of twentieth Century,the maze was used by psychologists to test the ability of animals.Because of the diversity of maze variants,the adaptability to different research subjects and research animals,as well as the important research significance of animal behavior and cognitive process.Maze has been widely used in many aspects,such as animal learning,memory,foraging strategy,spatial cognition and so on.However,at present,there are a lot of maze variants used to study the small animals such as rats and earthworms,but they are less used to study other mammals and birds.And at this stage,the degree of automation needs to be improved in the maze experiment.In the experiment,food excitation parameters and experimental records and other aspects need people to participate.But some of the experiments with the human participation will bring great interference to the participants,resulting in low efficiency of the experiment,and the test cycle will be longer and other adverse effects.In view of this situation,combined with the needs of the subject,a maze training system is designed to train the steering behavior of pigeon in this paper.It consists of two parts: the upper computer control software and the lower computer execution unit.The main functions of the host computer include the selection of experimental mode,the setting of experimental parameters and the processing of experimental data.The lower computer execution unit mainly includes the food delivery device,the position detection circuit,the signal transmission unit,the sound and light indicator circuit and so on.Through a large number of pigeon steering behavior training,and after analyzing the training data,we can get the conclusion that the pigeon maze training system can effectively improve the efficiency of training,and improve the accuracy of pigeons steering behaviors.Fully meet the design requirements.This paper mainly studies and designs the pigeon maze training system as follows:(1)Putting forward the design goal by requirements,design the training system to meet the requirements of dove steering behavior training,and induce the pigeon to complete the corresponding steering action through the information prompt.(2)According to the design goal,analyze the hardware and software design requirements of the training system;complete the overall design of the system.(3)Designing the hardware system of training system,including design the training platform,and the integration of the food feeding device,the position detection circuit,the signal transmission unit,the sound and light induction circuit and so on.(4)Designing the software system of the training system,including the upper computer software and the lower computer control program.(5)Completing the establishment of training system,debugging and optimizing the training system,carring out a large number of training experiments,and according to the training data,analyzing and verifying the performance of the training system. |
