| Animal training plays an important role in neurology, medicine, disease treatment, and cognitive science. It can help people understand the mechanism of neural activity in neuroscience. It can take on pharmacology of the drug efficacy research. It can treat some diseases in disease treatment. It can help to explore the brain mechanism in cognitive science. Traditional animal training as well as the analysis methods takes artificial observation method, sensor method and the method of adding fluorescent tags. It has interference to the training of the animal, leading to inaccurate results. The paper takes rats as experimental object, combined with electronic technology, image processing, video tracking and computer vision technology to design the rat behavior training and video analysis system. It is able to complete training of rats, and can display real-time trajectory in rats.The main contributions of this research include:1. Firstly the video software and hardware requirements are analyzed for rat behavior training. The overall program is designed according to the requirements.2. Completed the system hardware design for training behavior of rats. PC can set the training instructions. Controller accepts PC commands through the serial port, which can train rats.3. Writing software for analyzing video of rats. Moving objects tracking algorithm is employed in software. Movement background learning takes average background method. Moving target tracking takes Meanshift algorithm. Software can monitor the rat through USB camera. It also can display the track of rat. |
