Pipelines have becoming one of the most popular transportation modes of gas and oil.It has widely been applying in all aspects of daily life.China Gas Association ever made an investigation of gas explosion accidents in recent years and the investigation shows that nearly 90%of the accidents is caused by gas pipeline leakage.However,as the simplest transportation of gas and oil,pipelines are greatly hard to be replaced by others.In order to avoid some hazards of people's lives and property security caused by pipeline leakage,it is necessary to monitor the operating states and the leakage spots of gas pipelines timely and effectively,and then to help relevant staff preserve fast.Due to the characteristics of small-volume and low-cost of the sensor itself,it can be widely distributed into some certain monitoring areas and the distributed sensors can get multi-dimensional information such as temperature and humidity,concentration and pressure by the self-organized way of WSN,which greatly saves human and material resources.Therefore,this thesis designs a concentration-based location model by WSN to locate the leakage spots of gas pipeline,to ensure that these spots can be repaired in time and then to reduce the accidents caused by gas pipeline leakage.This thesis mainly includes three parts.Firstly,the 3-tier management strategy and WSN layout strategy are applied and they help simplify the management of the pipeline network and sensor layout.Secondly,a location model of pipeline leakage based concentration is designed and the location of leakage spots can be obtained by the fitting method.Finally,this paper extends the localization algorithm research of WSN sensor nodes according the previous research work.The results show that the proposed algorithm is simple,easy to implement,enough to meet the demands and it has the advantages of low-cost and real-time.
