| Interest groups play an extraordinarily important role on the stage of American politics,and majority of Americans have relations to various interest groups in their whole life.American interest groups have the largest quantity and the strongest power,so their influence on American policymaking is the most outstanding.We can have a much better understanding of American political process,through interest groups which are anywhere in American politics.With the development of science and technology,new media like internet bring great changes on American media empire.American interest groups implement external strategy,benefiting from the Changes and development of media.We can have a more overall and new idea on how American interest groups influence,by studying and analyzing how interest groups implement external strategy through media in the society today.First,I analyze American interest groups from several aspects,for example conception and definition,origins and development,division and types.So we can understand American interest groups politics better.Then,on this basis,from the micro level,I explain the means and ways of the political participation of interest groups;from the macro level,I explain the internal and external strategy of interest groups,and discuss the factors that the strategic choice of interest groups.Then by introducing changes and development of American media empire,I show changes and development of media in external strategy of American interest groups.The birth and development of new media,like internet,that have huge advantage,makes it more possible for interest groups to implement external strategy,and at the same time,impacts the traditional media.Finally,I analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of media in external strategy of American interest groups.The development of science and technology has brought a lot of convenience for interest groups,to further promote the development and perfection of the American interest group politics,but for American democracy has also brought some negative effect.The ingenious use of media of American interest groups is a double-edged sword in American politics. |
