Study Of CATV Network Management System For Smart City

With the gradual progress of the construction of China's smart city,the modernization of CATV network is also an important part of the development of smart city.In order to solve the problems of the current CATV network,such as the distribution of chaos,management difficulties,and because of the complexity of the type of cable television equipment cannot be unified management and other issues.This paper designs a CATV network management system for smart city,which is of great significance to promote the development of CATV network and triple play.Through the WebGIS technology and network management technology for a detailed understanding and in-depth study,a cable television network management system including presentation layer,service layer and agent layer three layer structure is designed and implemented by combining with the characteristics of the cable television network communication.First of all,for the current problems of distribution chaos and management difficulties of cable television equipment,the system uses WebGIS technology in the presentation layer to locate and display the cable television equipment,and display the performance parameters of each CATV equipment.And to achieve the unified management of the geographic information of the cable television rooms,and visually display the fault information and conduct the fault locations of the cable television equipment.Secondly,this paper designs the resource management,performance management,configuration management and fault management of the system in the service layer,it also obtain and analyze the SNMP packets in the network for storage analysis,to provide support for the upper data display.At the same time,for a number of cable television equipment cannot be unified network management issues,this system has done the analysis and the research to the many kinds of CATV management equipment communication way in the agent layer.It will compile the protocol conversion program of different communication protocols to the corresponding dynamic link library.And then by querying the configuration files in the corresponding port cable television equipment communication protocol code,dynamic import library files without affecting the normal operation of the system to achieve the general management and saving network resources of a variety of cable television equipment.Finally based on the design concept of intelligent city,design the system framework,and complete the function of the system.At last,the stability of the system is tested by testing software.The test results show that the system can timely respond to the settings and query requests by the users,and can obtain the performance parameters of the CATV equipment continuously and stably,and can support multi-user concurrent operation.Therefore,the system for promoting the development of CATV network has practical significance.
