Ad Hoc network is a multi-hop,no center,self-organized wireless network,the entire network without a fixed base station;each node is mobile and can be in any way to dynamically maintain contact with other nodes.In the Ad Hoc network,because the wireless coverage is limited,two users cannot communicate directly through the wireless channel but can be forwarded by other nodes.Each node is both a terminal and a router,can achieve relay function,to achieve the connection between different nodes.Ad Hoc network has many research directions,such as energy consumption,security issues,QoS,etc.,in order to make Ad Hoc network to be in better adaption to the dynamic characteristics of the scene,routing protocol improvements and optimization are still the focus of its research.At present,the main routing protocols in Ad Hoc network are DSDV,AODV,DSR and ZRP routing protocols.This paper mainly studies the application of Ad Hoc network,which is widely used nodes in the destination sequence distance vector(DSDV)routing protocol.Mobile communication networks are usually centrally located and based on network infrastructure.The cellular mobile communication system has base station support,and the wireless local area network(WLAN)also operates in the AP access point and the wired backbone mode.But on some special occasions,the need for the center of the mobile network is not competent.For example,troops on the battlefield are rapidly expanding and advancing,earthquake or flood rescue.Communication in these situations cannot rely on existing network facilities,but requires a fast,automatically established mobile network.Wireless Ad Hoc networks can be used to change routes in unstable network topologies and to adapt well to these emergency scenarios.Ad Hoc network technology has a high research value in the rapid development of military and emergency situations combined with wireless communication technology and computer technology.Ad Hoc has many issues such as routing algorithm optimization.Routing algorithm research all still focuses on the Ad Hoc network.In addition,this paper firstly introduces the research purpose and significance of DSDV routing protocol in Ad Hoc network and its development Status and introduced the contents of the thesis arrangements and optimization.Secondly,the research background of Ad Hoc network and optimal topology and advantages and disadvantages of Ad Hoc network introduced,And then study the principle of DSDV based on Ad hoc network,the process of DSDV routing protocol is introduced and analyzed,This paper presents the reasons for the Study of Ad Hoc routing protocol,and describes the process of performance simulation in detail,then,according to DSDV routing protocol performance evaluation criteria,the parameters are analyzed and simulated,and expounds the future work.According to the different update period,the NS-2 network simulation platform simulates the performance of the DSDV routing protocol in different update period.And provide a reference for the research of DSDV.The update period is set as the optimal update period obtained in this paper.And compared with similar active routing OLSR and on-demand routing AODV,and it's concluded that the optimized DSDV protocol can maintain a relatively stable overhead while achieving a small delay.Finally,this paper summarizes,and the DSDV routing protocol of Ad Hoc network prospects.
