Airport scene surveillance radar is an important part of the air traffic control system, which is used to monitor aircraft, vehicles and other targets in the airport scene.The system allows the airport staff to take real-time, accurate control of the airport scene traffic conditions, and plays a key role in airport management system. In recent years, with the continuous development of civil aviation and air transport industry, the increasingly busy airport scene traffic has higher requirements on the performance of airport scene surveillance radar. Radar data processing is one of the key technologies of scene surveillance radar. It receives point data formed by radar signal processing and forms target tracks, which can provide the target position, speed and other status, and make predictions of the state of the target future motion.This thesis takes scene surveillance radar project as the background, and makes following research work around the scene surveillance radar data processing method:First, this thesis analyzes the functions of scene surveillance radar data processing requirements. Its function can be divided into three parts: point cluster, tracking filter and track management.Second, combined with the features of target data of scene surveillance radar, this thesis study the characteristics of its trace condensation method, based on the common clustering algorithm propose radar target cluster algorithm which is suitable for scene surveillance radar engineering application, and do research on the efficiency and effectiveness of the point cluster algorithm.Third, this thesis does research on the basic principle of tracking system, system motion model, and filtering model. This thesis made study of Kalman filter and ?-?filter and Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and Unscented Kalman filter (UKF), and compares its performance under different conditions.Forth, this thesis studies on track management algorithm, including track initiation,track maintenance and track deleting and so on, and does simulation on radar data processing system in the Matlab platform.Fifth, considering of ASSR project background, this thesis implements the airport scene surveillance radar data processing in PowerPC processor and VxWorks real-time embedded operating system platform, and has carried on the detailed instructions about software process of the application in the implementation, structures of data, interface of functions, and data reception mode.In this thesis, the related theory of scene surveillance radar data processing are studied, and combined with the specific circumstances in the embedded platform to complete the final implementation, which has a certain engineering significance.
