Research On The Relationship Between WeChat Use And The Situation Of Alienation For College Students

New media have more and more widely involved in our lives,squeezed our time.It has some research value whether they will bring us the alienation of environment and others.Some scholars have studied the relationship between new media(including Internet,macro blog and so on)and alienation,then to draw a useful exploration conclusions.But with the smart phones' continuous improvement,WeChat has its features:unique social system,instant messaging.WeChat,as a smart phone standard app,are listed as a daily software of college students.It can be called one of the most popular new media products,but no alienation study points to it.The purpose of this paper is to study whether the use of WeChat(including the three dimensions of strength,function and dependence)in college students is related to the alienation of groups.If there is a relationship,whether it is the causality will be further discussed.After the study,the college students in Wuhan area are surveyed by questionnaire,and the relevant data are analyzed and re-analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)WeChat's function will strongly affect the dependency of WeChat;(2)The difference in the intensity of the use of WeChat will affect the sense of alienation;(3)WeChat function will affect some dimension of alienation;(4)The dependence of WeChat's use will affect the alienation of some dimensionsThere are two large relationship lines in the conclusion:(1)the internal in use of WeChat:the use of functions will affect the WeChat dependence.(2)WeChat use will affect the sense of alienation.Based on these two lines,this paper further discusses the relationship between the use of the media and the mental health level they represent.It believes that before the new media is fully integrated into college students' life,the users themselves should avoid the excessive.reliance on the use of the media,and prevent mental health problems.
