With the progressing of science and information technology,the video processing system in military radar,security monitoring,traffic management,remote teaching,and other fields plays a crucial role.Following,the requirements about performance of the system is higher and higher,such as the indicators about real-time,accuracy and stability.The high-speed video processing system designed in this thesis is composed of TI's DaVinci series chip DM8168 and Keystone architecture C6678,which are connected through PCIe2.0 interface.DM8168 set as master device,it has two main tasks.First,it is responsible for loading the application code of C6678 and trigger C6678 work.Second,it is responsible for controlling the PCIe driver to complete data transfer between DM8168 and C6678.C6678 set as slave device,mainly using multi-core parallel processing features with DM8168 for data processing acceleration.Based on the high-speed video processing system,this thesis designed a video processing application: first of all,DM8168 would capture video data,and then it would transfer the data to C6678 to process,after processed,DM8168 would get the processed video data from C6678.Finally,the processed video data is displayed on the HDMI.The design of the video processing system is of great significance,because the user can extension on the platform according to actual needs without pay more attention to bottom of implementation details,which greatly improved the convenience of the development process.
