With the large phased array radar as research background and the antenna array surface containing 6336 active elements as this thesis research object,it contains a large number of TR components,belongs to typical large phased array radar.The antenna array surface needs high control performance of beam control system,the traditional design method can not meet the demand of the control system.This paper presents a new design method,as distributed beam control system with the high speed optical fiber transmission.For each unit in the system design of the hardware and software in detail.Finally though the capability analysis of the system and each unit,distributed beam control system with the high speed optical fiber transmission has good practical effect.This thesis first introduces the development and current situation of domestic and foreign phased array radar.Then introduces the functions,development situation and the current mainstream design ideas of beam control system in the phased array radar,and makes clear the development trend of beam control system of the large phased array radar.Introduces the basic knowledge of beam control system and the optical fiber transmission.Then analyzes the advantages of high speed optical fiber transmission used in beam control system.Taking a concrete beam control system as the object,based on the analysis of the system index,confirm the system design of antenna array surface beam control system,as distributed beam control system with the high speed optical fiber transmission.According to the antenna array radiating element number and its physical configuration,the thesis designs the subarray partition,the beam control system series,circuit unit number at all levels of the beam system,the design idea of hardware and the design process of software.And the optimization idea is also put forward in the paper through the actual test and debug,provides a train of thought for later work.Then comes to a conclusion through the capability analysis of the system and each unit: distributed,high speed optical transmission beam control system designed in the scheme has faster response,good stability and consistency.The design has good scalability,building block extensions can be used in larger antenna array surface.This design is a kind of advanced design scheme of large phased array radar beam control system.
