Study Guided By Visual Thinking On Visual Hierarchy Design For Reading Software Interface Of Smartphone

With the development of Internet and the popularity of mobile devices,people now do mobile reading more frequently and therefore acquire increasingly more information.Since not restricted by time and place,mobile reading can make full use of every spare minuteto the utmost extent.But at the same time,it also causes the fragmentation of reading time and the complexity and variability of place.So there is need for optimization for interface design of mobile phones to meet the needs of acquiring the information or accomplishing tasks efficiently and accurately in a short period of time or dynamic situations.This paper was based on visual thinking theory and visual psychology experiments,and did research on visual hierarchy design for reading software interface of smartphone.Firstly,analyze the necessary connection between visual perception theory of visual thinking and its creative thinking.Analyses the cognitive process of visual thinking and the influence ofArt design.And the technology of eye movement tracking in visual psychology could be applied to objectively reveal the process of visual thinking of users.Then from the perspective of theory and questionnaire survey,impact factors for visual hierarchy design for reading software interface of smartphone was analyzed,and got the conclusion that technology,users and environment were three critical impact factors.So visual hierarchy design for smartphone interface should be more visualized and understandable for users.Regarding this as cutting point,the paper made an optimization for visual hierarchy design for smart phoneinterface by optimizing layout,closure principle,grid settings,visual contrast,compressing the relationship among interface hierarchy,increasing designs for visual cues,intensifying the perceived level of users for target information,which was based on the theory of visual thinking.And through eye movement tracking experiment,visual hierarchy design for reading software interface of smartphone was researched from experimental scheme,data analysis and confirmatory experiment,space hierarchy of smartphone interface was quantified and opacity was the most influential factor,and the combination scheme of shadow hierarchy design was concluded and testified.Finally,the visual design for software interface of smartphone was put in to practice,according to the study.The paper studied the visual hierarchy design for reading software interface of smartphone by means of combining theory and practice,qualitative and quantitative analysis,and the research method and result of which would set up a brand-new thought for further research and application widely and deeply and also provide a practical case for reference.
