Smartphone Game Interface Design Research

With the development of information-technology, our daily life and works are facing speedy change by mobile commerce. The mobiles are more than a use in a communication, but using interchanging/commerce、entertainment as one tool necessary. In the same time, we have notice that persons are willing to play the mobiles, and that improving the numbers of subscribers, because of both new technology and visual design. The born of smart phones improve markets to a high climax, because they create new user experience.In such an era that the industry of mobile phone develops explosively, APP was created by sharp commercial view with new embassy meeting the profits in business. Different APPs developed for occupying the scale of costumers, with the mobile approaching to be a micro-computer. Games APP gain more attentions with its amusement in this developing period, popularized as a main superiority but additional function. The graphical interface of Games APPs distinguishably discriminate to traditional MMORPG.My thesis will study from UI design on smart phones to the differentiates in Handset game and PC game, which used for Case analysis with the background reveal of the research result, basing on the tale quale of internet, Present situation of UI Design, subject of literature, growing trend of smart phones in this area, and related notion of game UI design. We will design a new children’s game on the phone, finding the factors related to game UI design on mobiles, investigating and surveying various people in the way of questionnaire and interview, concluding the ingredients used in mobile UI design for children’s games, with the research of the way by aim-guide-design. Prospect this research will help the game designers whose works for designated people.Neither playing in a real world or a virtual world, the graphical interface is affecting to our daily life. It will be more wildly used in the near future.
