With the increasing popularity of the internet and smart phones,mobile reading is gradually replacing paper reading and being accepted by more and more readers.But at the same time,there is a common problem:reading for a long time will cause a heavy burden on the user's eyes,resulting in sore eyes,blurred vision,tears and other symptoms.Since the interface design of mobile reading Apps often has a great impact on the degree of visual fatigue,it has gradually become the development direction of mobile reading Apps to reduce readers' reading fatigue by improving the interface design.First of all,through the analysis of the representative of mobile phone reading App market present situation,the user distribution,product characteristics,information architecture,etc.,refining the main function of mobile phone reading App,behavior,and it can be divided into instinct demand requirements,reflect on three levels to carry on the analysis,combined with the Kano model and customer satisfaction evaluation,determined the charm quality of "recommended for reading of the font,size" and the necessary quality of"can manually adjust the font size and line spacing,brightness" is the main interface design elements affecting the visual fatigue,Finally,the design elements closely related to both of them are selected as the main design elements.Then,the pupil area changes of readers in the reading process of five different font sizes were collected by eye tracker.According to the univariate analysis of pupil area by font size,the correlation between font size and the relative changes of the mean,maximum and minimum of pupil area was explored respectively.And active feedback by readers in the process of reading and reading at seven after fill in visual fatigue likert scale,quantitative description of different stages of reading visual fatigue,according to the pupil area relative variation and visual fatigue degree of correlation analysis,determine the pupil area of minimum value is used to describe the visual fatigue is most Appropriate.Therefore,the priority order of font size suitable for mobile phone reading was determined as 25pt>20pt>15pt>30pt>10pt and the evaluation model of visual fatigue degree was established to quantitatively describe the relationship between the relative change of minimum pupil area and visual fatigue degree.Finally,based on the Kano model and customer satisfaction evaluation to determine the design of the factor analysis,combining with the experiments of eye movement instrument to determine the size of factors and the relationship between the degree of visual fatigue,in order to reduce the user's visual fatigue and improve the user experience as the guide,in view of the "discovery" of "hits" "bookstore" "my" four primary pages as well as their respective secondary pages "tomato reading" mobile phone reading App interface design,in order to a certain extent,reduce the user's visual fatigue,bring deep reading.As a basic research of mobile phone reading interface design,this paper can be Applied in different practical projects,providing reference for quantitative research on mobile phone reading App interface design font.At the same time,the relationship model between the relative change of the minimum pupil area and the degree of visual fatigue can be deduced to other interface designs to evaluate the impact of different interface designs on visual fatigue.On this basis,the optimization direction of App interface design can be determined.
