Network Browsing And Visualization System Based On Multi-touch Technology

Multi-touch technology is the new generation of human-computer interaction technology.It can complete the interaction in the absence of traditional input devices(such as: mouse,keyboard,etc).It support one single finger or multiple fingers to conduct the operation at same time.Multi-touch technology allows people to interact with computer in the most natural way to reduce the complexity of operation and improve the efficiency of interaction.Multi-touch technology has been mature in terms of hardware,but the research of multi-touch gesture is still at the initial stage.Many multi-touch systems are still followed the traditional WIMP model of Windows platform,and do not take the advantage of hardware to complete the human-computer interaction catering the human natural operating habits.Therefore,the design of multi-touch gestures and implementing its application has more important practical significance.The traditional method of web browsing visualization is composed of one or more static visual views.It needs to display the whole large visualization in detail at one time.and then the user to browse the entire network through the visual results.When the picture jumps from one view to another,the user has to spend extra cognitive effort to understand after each transition.According to these problems mentioned above,this article will make the following research: first,through the investigation and analysis of user behavior habits,according to the theory of human-computer interaction,it will propose the most optimized user experience gesture trajectory and the corresponding gesture command,and then present a set of simple and efficient multi-touch gesture library.Secondly,according to the multi-touch gesture designed before,it will be combined with the web visualization method to design a multi-touch based network navigation system,that helps the user,not only by providing a visual aid to guide the Web journey,but also by preserving the user's mental map [1] of the view while the user interactively navigates the Web by swapping of views.And through the multitouch technology,to build the natural user interface design,it will enable the user to browse the network in a convenient way.In the end,it analyzes the shortcomings of this web navigation visualization system,find out the causes of the defects,then summarizes the effective solution.Andcombining with the prototype program,to realize a application of a network system.Through the research and optimization of the visualization algorithm,the combination of multi-touch operation and web visualization will play an important role.
