Human-computer interaction has been a hot research field in computer science.Looking for a more natural, flexible way to interact is our goal. In recent years,intelligent terminal with friendly user interface and natural mode of operation, typicallyiphone, has attracted the concern of consumers and developers of multi-point touchtechnology. Recent development is also show that multi-touch technology is ubiquitousin the application trend. Methodology of design based on the principle of light sensingis active branches on research of Multi-touch system. There appears several maturetechnologies and to be applied in the product. Based on the LLP principle, this paperproposed and implemented a set of embedded multi-touch desktop system. Systemconsists of micro-projector, camera and infrared light source. According to computervision theory, we process the image of interaction region, to detect the position of thefinger contacts, and identify the meaning of user gestures.The paper analyzes the LLP technology principle, proposed a structure for buildingmulti-touch system, Be explored the flow of image processing for contact detection,tracking in detail, and analyze the core algorithm to be used; In QT developmentenvironment, we implement multi-touch tracking software. Using embeddeddevelopment technology, we build an embedded Linux operating system on OMAP3530processor-based platforms. Transplant QTE/OPENCV library needed by multi-touchtracking software. Set up the host development environment and the target operatingsystem environment; According to the characteristics of the OMAP platform, weoptimized multi-touch tracking software, give full play to the advantages of ARM andDSP. Finally, Assembly and debug the multi-touch system, the results show thatMulti-touch design is reasonable, embedded system platform is reliable and stable.Themulti-touch tracking software acts well with high efficiency, can satisfy theapplication requirements. The main content of the paper is as follows:①Based on the LLP principle, design the structure of multi-touch system, and analysework characteristics of the various components of the system and assemblymethod. ②Explore the procedure of image processing for contact detection, tracking. putforward the core algorithm used in each processing step, and developed amulti-touch tracking software accordingly.③transplant embedded system environment, set up the development environment ofthe host side, prepare environment for the development,cross-compiling andrunning of multi-touch tracking software.③Analysis of the OMAP platform software architecture and the task of multi-touchtracking program to be reasonably allocated to the ARM and DSP cores forprocessing.⑤Assembly and debugging of multi-touch system to verify system design andexploration of possible problems.
