Touch Interactive can enable user to complete the real-time interaction with themachine by touching the interactive screen. This interaction mode has become a hotspot ofhuman-computer interaction theory and application researches in recent years for its morenatural and direct operation experience. Today`s touch screens are mainly based onresistance, capacitance, electromagnetic induction and other related physical components.They make higher requirements for device, and limited to a small plane interaction. TouchInteractive System based on Computer Vision can break through the limitations of existingphysical touch screen.Through the capture of real-time infrared vedio images, the recognition of touchaction and the judgment of uers’ operation intention, Spherical Touch Interactive Systemcan realize the touch interactive operation on the spherical surface. Through the analysisof the function and performance demands of the Spherical Touch Interactive System, theoverall design of the system is given from two aspects: hardware environment buildingand drive software designing. Then, the applicable solutions to the key technologyproblems in Spherical Touch Interactive System are found, including the video imageprocessing, touch action recognition and so on. The mainly studied system’s corealgorithms include coordinate correction algorithm, target recognition algorithm in singleframe infrared image, and actions parsing algorithm in continuous frames, etc. The systemcan perform well to meet both functional and performance requirements.System tests and experiment results show that, by using the accurate and efficientimage processing algorithms, Spherical Touch Interactive System can achieve theexpected functions and performance, and break through the limitations of existing physicaltouch screen. The system achieves high accuracy, fast speed and strong robustness. It canaccurately capture, define and analyze human touch action and movement with lowrequirements for physical device and environment. And it is of high using value.
