The research of mobile Ad Hoc network has become an important research direction in the field of network,The design and performance research of related routing protocol has become a hotspot.A performance evaluation method which can comprehensively analyze Ad Hoc network routing protocol is becoming more and more important.The methods of analysition and evaluation for Ad Hoc network routing protocols include software simulation,field test analysis,theoretical analysis,Empirical anslysis and other methods.At present,due to the high cost of field test and the complexity of the deployment of the experimental scene and hard to reproduce,the performance data can not be easily obtained and the theoretical analysis can only evaluate and analyze the ideal mobile Ad Hoc network scenario,and the empirical analysis is only suitable for small scale Mobile Ad Hoc network scenarios and other reasons,software simulation is the main method to evaluate the performance of Ad Hoc network routing protocol.This method is more suitable for the design of routing protocol algorithm research,but for some network security,intrusion detection,application layer protocol and some need to actual data transmission and the actual operation of the algorithm,it is not convincing.In terms of this issue,we design and implement the performance evaluation platform of-Ad Hoc network routing protocol based on wired link(PEPA),and propose a performance evaluation method of-routing protocols for Ad Hoc networks based on wired link.We construct the mobile Ad Hoc network simulation scene by the analog nodes in the PEPA platform and make a performance evaluation of the related Ad Hoc network routing protocol.This method not only compensates for the influence of sensitive factors such as operating system,system hardware,system design and actual communication environment,but also solves those problems that the performance of test data in field test is difficult to obtain,huge overhead,complex scene structures and other issues.In addition,we propose an optimization scheme for reducing the OLSR protocol routing overhead.The performance evaluation method of Ad Hoc network routing protocol based on wired link in this paper is great significance to the research of new wireless Ad Hoc network with high reliability and low latency.
