Research And Implementation On Multimode Integration Mobile Communication Based On Femto Gateway Technology

Femto system is a nanometer cellular small base station system.Femto system using IP network as its back-haul network can provide mobile communication services to users in narrow region,which promotes the integration between mobile services and cable broadband services.Femtocell has the advantages of low-cost,high quality of services and convenient installation,and is very suitable deployment in the indoor environment,especially for the deployment of exclusive mobile communication network in the mine,tunnel and other underground environment.With the development of Femto technology,the Femto system only supports roaming service in one access mode and cannot support the integration roaming of service in different access modes,which is not convenient for deploying mobile communication networks by using Femto system.Especially in the indoor environment,mine environment,tunnel environment and other underground environment,Femto system using different communication technology deployed mobile communication network needs to construct magnitude redundant Femto facilities,which not only increases the construction cost,but also makes the mobile communication network too complex.Meanwhile,messages interacted between different core networks of Femto system using different communication technology will increase the maintenance cost of mobile communication network.Now,many researches aimed at researching Femto system of one access mode and implementing one access technology Femto systems.Faced with the complex situation existing various access technology,there is no research about Femto gateway that can support various access technology.Therefore,our paper aimed at the above problems and researched a multimode integration mobile communication Femto gateway technology that can reduce the construction cost and maintenance cost of mobile communication network using Femto system.The paper reviewed the present research institution of Femto technology at home and abroad;then,it briefly described the working principle of GSM Femto system,TD-SCDMA Femto system and LTE Femto system.And this paper proposed a multimode integration mobile communication gateway technology scheme based on Femto and designed six functional modules based on remain functions of gateway and core network,including data module,module of interface between gateway and base station,integration modules of control plane and user plane for interface between gateway and core network,application management module and protocol conversion module.And designed the signaling procedure of application scene based on technology scheme.This paper designed and implemented the software procedure of some functional module.In the end,this paper achieved integrating gateway in the 2.6.35.6 Linux kernel platform and tested some functional modules;then verified the functions of integrating gateway in the application scenario.The proposed gateway can reduce the construction cost and maintenance cost and complexity of mobile communication networks in indoor environment,and increase the reusing of Femto facilities.
