Falling down is common for the old,and it can cause severe and sometimes fatal injuries for those whose physical function is degenerating.So far,the study on detection remain many key problems to be solved.This paper is a design of a wearable falling-down-detecting device,whose task is to real-timely monitor people's activity state,and to correctly distinguish activities of daily living and fall.This device detects falling accident,and sends messages to people around and medical systems through android mobile phone,so that the old can get fast and effective treatment,reducing injuries caused by delay.This paper focuses on the following aspects.(1)Design a wearable acceleration and angular velocity signal acquisition system,adopting MEMS(micro-electro-mechanical systems)sensor MPU6050 and low-power-consumption Bluetooth chip CC2541 and other related modules,gathering the body acceleration and angular velocity signal,send the data to the smart phone,and determine the range,the signal frequency of the system and data acquisition after preprocessing scheme.(2)Analyze fall activity and people's activities of daily living and distinguish them so as to determine the mark of people's fall.(3)By analyzing the data and proposing a algorithm and angular velocity threshold value,and also by using Matlab to simulateand analyze the collected data to attest the feasibility and validity of the algorithm,it can ultimately determine the threshold value of acceleration and angular velocity.(4)By coding automatic alarm system on smart phones and by connecting the device to user's Android phones through Bluetooth,the device can be wearable.The phonic alarming system and the text alarm system based on Android system can be established.Test system accuracy reached 98.8%,proved the rationality of the setting threshold,and the reliability of the fall monitoring system.This article is based on the research of fall in the wearable monitoring,mainly aims at the real time monitoring of daily life in the elderly is living alone.In solitary old man falling accident occurs,informing quickly and efficiently to the user guardian and the nearby medical system to treat the elderly,reduce the old people can't stand up by the fall down for a long time.The system is to improve the quality of life in the old age has important social significance.With the popularity of intelligence in the old,making the system has broad application prospects.
