Paleontology takes fossil samples as research objects, but fossils can be damaged when forming, resulting in serious defects and abrasion in their biological structures. In order to perfectly present the appearance of the palaeobios, paleontology researchers choose to adopt restored images, which would be able to display the uncompleted biological structure in fossil samples to demonstrate their research achievement. However, in practice on account of the limited technology, it is difficult to make the restored images exactly accurate and dynamic during the producing process. The research objective of this article is to display how to use the software Maya to fully present the maximum charm of the ancient creatures. The article firstly teases out the concepts of Ecdysozoa fossils and the functions of reconstructed paleontological pictures. Secondly it thoroughly analyzes the differences between two-dimension and three-dimension visual languages. Then it uses the example of the reconstructed picture of Miraluolishania to interpret theory with practice. Finally, based on this foundation, it attempts to incorporate the 3D reconstructing technology of Ecdysozoa fossils into such intermediaries as websites, cell phone APP, to achieve displaying paleontological form in an inter-acting way.Through teasing out the above knowledge, the article summarizes a process of making reconstructed pictures of Ecdysozoa fossils, which can not only display the 3D image of prehistoric animals, but also apply the artistically appealing reconstructed pictures to paleontological teaching and scientific propaganda. Therefore, the scientific meaning of this research is remarkable, with wide scientific prospects.
