The Development Of Performance Test Software Of Control Valve

Control valve as a terminal actuator of industrial process control system.Because of contacting with corrosive and flushing production media directly in producing process and working in the harsh enviroment of high or low temperature or high pressure and frequent actions of the mechanical parts,the stress will destroyed or wear out.Thus affect the effect of control,it may possibly cause faults.The control valve needs regular maintence and overhaul.But the usual maintenance method needs disassembly all valves to check and replace the ullage components,this approach also break up the good work valve,so it consumes a great deal of unuseless time.The subject is to develop a set of performance evluation equipment to assess the loss fo valve to make the chose of maintence or not.It will save a lot of time and resources.The subject based on the study of the ISA?IEC?EPRI standard of American,divides the perfomance of valve into position control performance,load performance and flow regulating performance,proposes a complete set of performance indicators and designs test standard for the test software.In Labview the software of diagnostic has been developed,the software can take off-line test of control valve and get the performance indicators of the valve,in the final it will generate a test report.The diagnostic consists of test signal generation,data acquistion,signal analysis,report generation,valve information parameters.In particular,using FFT and other techniques for signal analysis,the diffculty of automatic extraction of signal characteristic parameters and data processing are solved,automatic analysis of performance of control valve are achieved.Finally,the platform of valve diagnostic is buit,the accurary of the software is tested by a typical simulation example firstly,by testing the control valve the effectiveness of the software was tested.The resulsts of this study develop a set of control valve performance evaluation of system,the software can provide a report similiar as physical examination list of valve performance index as a reference for the daily maintence of valve customers and the factory test of valve manufacturers and the repairment of valve repairs.
