Research And Implementation Of The Tilt-tray Sorter Control System

Baggage handling system is an automated system which is used to transmit,sort and process the passenger's luggage intensively and uniformly.The system consists of the computer,industrial control network,PLC and electrical control.Along with the rapid development of the domestic aviation market and increase number of passengers,the transport system is put forward higher requirements in the processing capacity of baggage handling system,and more and more airports come into use baggage handling technology.Compared with the manual handling system,the baggage handling system has advantages of low failure rate,fast processing speed and less staff.Automatic sorting equipment is the main part of large and medium-sized airport baggage handling system,it has two kinds of work way:pusher sorting equipment and tray sorting system.The domestic hub and large airports are equipped with tray sorting system now.The tilt-tray sorter(TTS)is the core part of the automatic baggage handling system,it improves the sorting accuracy and baggage handling capacity,but the control of TTS is complex relatively.In this paper,the tilt-tray sorter,which is the core equipment of the automatic sorting system,was regarded as the study object;the composition,functions and interfaces of the baggage handling system were discussed;the injection control technology of TTS was researched,and the implementation techniques of the TTS hardware and software based on PLC were given.This paper focuses on the implementation process of the luggage imported to the tray,the algorithm based on the virtual window,and dynamic import resynchronization technology.
