The Software Design Of The Digital Set-top Box Application Based On M88CS6001-U Chip

In recent years,the rapid development of China's set-top box [7].Due to the set-top box industry resource supply or product demand is undergoing a series of changes,resulting in this industry is gradually transferred from other countries or regions to the Chinese production and manufacturing.China has become the world's largest set-top box manufacturing center.Digital set-top box is described in this paper,using M88CS6001-U chip montage Technology Group Limited production,and the MTOS operating system development based on C/OS-II operating system as the software development platform.First,it introduces the DVB.S standard,and puts forward the software and hardware requirements of the digital TV set top box based on the DVB.S standard.For software and hardwareThe hardware structure and software structure based on M88CS6001-U set top box are designed.In order to improve the development efficiency,and is suitable for maintenance and management,the software module of the system software,in each task module using message queue for communication.Then,introduces several important modules and functions,including the application framework module is how to coordinate all applications in the operating system,which is composed of MMI module,module,function and principle of each module,OSD module,OSD interface drawing specific operation module,how to response and key news etc.Finally,detailed introduces the satellite management and program management functions,management functions including satellite satellite transponder antenna list,list settings,motor settings,as well as the basis,program management functions including adding favoriteprograms,lock program,skip program,mobile program editing program.OSD module and database module interaction,as well as the interaction of the interface,has also been the focus of the introduction.At present,the software has passed the test,the user has successfully run,and has achieved certain results,to the majority of digital TV set-top box users has brought great convenience.
