Research On The Management Of Voluntary Service In China's Archives

Volunteer service is as an altruistic social activity,not only beneficial to the realization of self-worth for the individual participants and the training of civic awareness,but also a power to promote the construction of Archives and Archives development in China.In recent years,the voluntary service of archives in our country has been developed and increased from scratch under the guidance of the government,the development of archives and the public participation.At the same time,There are still many problems with the Chinese archives volunteer service,such as archives have a strong line of administrative,the awareness of organizations to carry out volunteer service is not strong,industry policies and regulations system is not complete,it is lack of planning and researching on the collection of resources,the interaction to public is not strong,and so on.Chinese archives volunteer service still needs further improvement.This thesis analyzes the necessity and feasibility of volunteer service in archives from multi angles,and takes the National Archives at all levels of Nanjing City as an example.The thesis investigations the status of voluntary service carried out at all levels of the national archives in depth using literature research,interviews and so on.On the basis of the existing research results,this thesis puts forward the management process and security standards of China's volunteer service.The thesis is divided into 6 chapters.The main contents are:The first chapter is introduction.The research background and significance of this thesis are analyzed,and the related concepts are defined.In this thesis,the status of the research on the development of voluntary service at home and abroad is investigated in the form of literature research.The second chapter is about the necessity and feasibility of carrying out voluntary service.This thesis expounds the necessity and feasibility of carrying out voluntary service in archives from the aspects of social foundation,theoretical basis and practical basis.The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the status of the voluntary service in the National Archives of Nanjing.This thesis expounds the reasons of choosing the National Archives at all levels of Nanjing as the research object,and analyzes the present situation and existing problems of the voluntary service in the National Archives of Nanjing.The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter are about the design of the volunteer service management process and the establishment of security standards.Based on investigation of the current situation of volunteer service in the analysis of domestic and foreign archives and related industries,focusing on volunteer service as a new type of archives information resources development means and ways of citizen participation,the thesis makes the design and the establishment of China's archives of volunteer service management processes and security.The sixth chapter is conclusion.The main points and shortcomings of the thesis are summarized.
