The Drive Of Electronic Paper And Display Control System

Electronic paper is a new kind of display technology,which has drawn people's attention.On the one hand,it has a paper-like display effect,on the other hand it has a low power consumption.In this environmentally society,the appearance of electronic paper can not only reduce the demand of paper,but also allows people to get a paper-like reading experience.So as a new direction of display technology,electronic paper will play an important role.Display update is a significant problem for use of electronic paper.If we download the display contents through download line,the system will become hard to use.But if we can use wireless method to control the display contents,this problem will be easily solved.Using wireless display control system can significantly improve the work efficiency especially when we want to update several screens in your area.This thesis introduced four different types of electronic paper technologies and made a comparison between them,then introduced three kinds of driving modes of electronic paper.After the study of SSD1608,I completed the configuration of this drive chip.Then I introduced how to configure the display buffers,scanning method and voltage setting method of the drive chip.The wireless control system was designed after the drive of electronic paper.In order to achieve this goal,the drive module should be improved.The Bluetooth module should be integrated into the display drive module,the drive program should add data process module to get the ability to communicate with the host computer.The host computer is the core of the system,on the one hand,it should transform the selected picture into binary data,on the other hand,it should complete the configuration of the Bluetooth.Finally,in the joint debug,the data process method should be matched to make these systems work well.After repeated testing,the system realized the wireless display control.This system uses low-power chips,Bluetooth module communication is reliable,electronic paper display effect is good and the host computer performance is stable.
