After decades of development, Ethernet has become the basement of the most network environement around us, people also build up many useful network services based on the Ethernet. However, due to the possibility of frames collision which could happened in standard Ethernet network, people still tend to use those network technologies which has more reliable and real-time prefomance in many areas such as industrial control and aerospace environment. Recently, the industry has introduced the concept of time scheduled into many protocols, and look forward to a better real-time prefomance and reliability. In those way, they may solve the reliablity problems around the network communication.Based on others' analysis of real-time Ethernet technology, this thesis aims to study a kind of time triggered Ethernet protocol, and puts forward a device software implementation program.This thesis analyzes the current technologies about Ethernet, and analyzes the defects around real-time environement. The presentation of time triggered theory could make up these problems. Time sychronization protocols such as IEEE1588 or SAE AS6802 could solve time different between nodes in a network. This thesis studies the specific technologies which are composed of the time triggered Ethernet, including the scheme of time synchronization and data transmission. In this way, this article could divide into four sections which includes system structure analysis, time synchronization algorithm analysis, software design and module division, and the specific software implementation.The time triggered Ethernet network is composed of the real-time node devices, the real-time switch devices and reliable links. This thesis focuses on the software implementations of node devices.Based on the Xlinix FPGA hardware devices and Linux operation system, these software implemtents will include the driver software,configuration software and application software. Finally, test this software in actual environment. By analyzing the data and realiztion scheme, the article will put forward some problems in the design and further research in the end.
