Development Of Field Data-collecting Assistant System For EM38-MK2 Device

It's a quick method in measurement of soil conductiviy that making use of the Geonic EM38-MK2 electromagnetic soil conductivity meter,especially suitable for working in a large area of field data acquisition,which provides important technical support to solve the problem of soil salinization in China.But the traditional work indoor of data testing and processing is lag,which reduce the efficiency of the whole work seriously,and difficult to guarantee the quality in data acquisition.At present,the rapid development of mobile GIS helps to solve the problem,the mobile GIS support manner of working both online and offline,which could show the collected data directly,and do space analysis to the data,applying the result on the map.The characteristic of real-time helps improving the efficiency of collecting work,ensure quality of data collected.We select the EM38-MK2 as the research object,based the Android smart device,have developed a system of field data collection?Our system select EM38-Mk2 as the data collector,transfer the data collected to the receiving system through wireless transmission technology in real-time,then the receiving system doing the corresponding analysis work in background,at last back the result to the system for displaying.This system also supports the functions of searching,localization,path planning,labeling and so on,could be a guidance of field data acquisition work.In respect of data transfer,the article uses the Bluetooth technology between the system and the EM38-MK2,and the client communications through the popular HTTP protocol;In respect of data display,there are different ways displaying the data,such as table,figure,and map layers.Trying best to a presentation of intuitive and clear;In terms of technology choices,the mobile client use the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android as the map frame,use the open source Libraries AChartEngine to display our graph,the receiving system used the Portal for ArcGIS with ArcGIS Server platform;in addition,in some aspects of technical details,we adopts the current cutting-edge Material Design in respect of HTTP technical scheme,we use the OKHttp technicalIn respect of content producing,the system provide some maps online with different styles,which could be a geographical background for the data displaying,in additional,the users could load their own maps to the system online and offline.The system could access the map portal of the users,getting the map resources,also could show the map data produced from the desktop client with multi_format,it will meet different needs of users.
