In recent years, satellite communication technology has been rapid development,which has been involved in all aspects of human life, especially in the precise guidance,navigation, positioning and other military fields and plays an irreplaceable role. When aircraft, missiles, high-speed aircraft and other high-speed moving objects communicate with satellite, the antenna is deflected due to the changes in the trajectory and attitude of the moving object, which will cause communication to be unstable or even interrupted.Therefore, in order to ensure the quality of communication, studying the antenna adaptable to the satellite technology is a key issue. Satellite tracking technology is to solve this problem.Phased array antenna plays an important role in satellite tracking technology because of its characteristics of fast beam scanning. In addition, the motion platform satellite tracking system is a large and complex system, Its complexity is not only reflected in the design itself, the test process is also a complex and cumbersome process,and the laboratory environment is difficult to carry out. Based on this consideration, this thesis designs and realizes a Motion Platform Satellite Tracking Demonstration System,which mainly studies the architecture design of Motion Platform Satellite Tracking Demonstration System and the key technology involved in satellite tracking.First of all, This thesis introduces the overall scheme of phased array satellite tracking demonstration system, and divides the system into two parts: signal simulator and baseband digital signal processing, describes the main function of each module and its flow chart, and introduces the interface technology and data communication protocol between the two parts.Then, the design method of signal simulator is described in this thesis. Firstly, the problem of coordinate system involved in motion modeling is introduced. And then exercise the movement of the object modeling, and use the host computer to complete.Finally, the hardware implementation method of receiving signal simulator is given.Then, the technology of auto-tracking baseband digital signal processing is studied in this thesis. Firstly, this thesis introduces the overall frame design of the baseband unit,Then the thesis deduces and simulates the signal preprocessing, search, amplitude-comparison angle measurement, phase-comparison angle measurement and tracking filter, which are involved in the tracking technologies combined with the actual technical indicators of the project. Finally, the realization method of each algorithm in FPGA is given, and the hardware implementation result is tested.Finally, this thesis tests the main functional modules in the baseband digital board and the auto-tracking closed-loop systems, in which the angle measurement error is within 0.6 degrees, and the tracking measurement error is within 0.8 degrees. The test Results meet the system requirements, and successfully demonstrate the auto-tracking process.
