Ultrasonic phased array is one of non-destructive testing technologies and is widely used in aviation,transportation,military,medical and other industrial fields.Ultrasonic phased array detection technology has many advantages such as high detection efficiency,high reliability,visualization of test results,good real-time performance,and easy operation.It has gradually developed into one of the hot technologies in the field of non-destructive testing at home and abroad.This article focuses on the related research of FPGA-based ultrasonic phased array control system.First,the physics and propagation characteristics of ultrasonic waves are described,the basic properties of the ultrasonic sound field are discussed,and the influence of array spacing and delay accuracy on the ultrasonic detection resolution is analyzed.Subsequently,the hardware design scheme of the ultrasonic phased array control system is introduced in detail,including the core device FPGA,stimulated emission,isolation limiting,acquisition and reception,echo buffer,power supply system and FPGA configuration and related circuit design,and complete the system hardware design.At the same time,FPGA-based delay transmission module,LVDS signal interface,LVDS signal data serialization module,data buffer and storage module,beam synthesis module,and SPI communication module are designed,and the function and timing of each module are separately designed.Perform simulation and verification.Then,the ultrasonic phased array hardware system should be set up.Besides,power supply system circuit,transmit circit and limiting isolation as well as receiving circuit should be debugged.Furthermore,in order make the result of image close to the detection defect,the ultrasonic phased array system is used to do the actual flaw detection test.Finally,through the analysis of the test results of the flaw detection experiment,this paper shows that the research of the ultrasonic phased array control system technology based on FPGA and the establishment of the hardware circuit can not only meet the basic requirements of ultrasonic phased array inspection,but also make the detection of the ultrasonic system accurate has been improved.
