The 21 st century,with the human into the age of big data and information technology,multimedia applications are used more and more widely.Especially network video and streaming media technology have been widely integrated into people's life,which give the network video compression and sending tasks higher requirements.From MJPEG to H263,H264,H265,Video compression coding method has been constantly innovating and breaking through.H264 standard can basically meet the needs of people on the quality of video,so it is widely used in a variety of network media audio and video data compression,and therefore becomes the most widely used video compression coding standard.The development of H264 makes the application of video surveillance system more and more widely at home and abroad,especially the rapid development of vehicle monitoring system and the emergence of a lot of new products in recent years.This thesis analyses the current situation and development prospect of the vehicle monitoring system,designs and realizes the real-time video transmission system with 4G communication technology which is based on H264 coding technology.The system fully combines the advantages of existing vehicle monitoring system,and added a lot of multiplay function,and can achieve LAN and WAN monitoring.In the LAN,the system uses the broadcast communication way to search the surrounding camera,so that user do not have to configure the camera IP.In the WAN,the system uses the 4G module to communicate,and the server only forwards the IP address without forwarding the stream,effectively improving the real-time of video surveillance.At the same time,this thesis uses the low cost high-performance haisi 3518 chip as the main control chip,which greatly reduces the development cost of the system.The system is divided into three parts to achieve,namely,video acquiring,video coding and video sending.Video acquiring was inplemented using the Haisi 3518 camera.The camera integrates streaming media processing module to improve the video compression efficiency,which can quickly compress and process images and support H264 hardware coding.Video acquisition processing includes from the original Bayer image conversion to YUV images and ISP chip processing images.The video coding module mainly studies the process of the image compression coding which is achieved by the H264 encoder of Haisi 3518 camera,this module analyzes the stream structure of H264 in a comprehensive way and adjusts the image quality and controls the coding rate by setting the H264 encoding parameters.Video sending uses popular streaming media technology.Streaming media technology is different from the traditional multimedia technology,which uses the way of downloading while playing,it not only can download while playing,but also play network video in real time.Finally,this thesis verifies that the system can monitor the network vehicle video normally under the LAN and WAN,and puts forward an important solution for the images display problem.
