In these article, I chose Shilang as a case study, the controversial historical figure. We also chose media memory as the core theory, and put Shi Lang under different groups of the government and nongovernment. I began to gather official documents and did some analysis. At the same time I used field survey methods with depth interview and data collection in the nongovernment, and took memorial place with historical memory, ritual as an analysis object. This article used a lot of space of media content, in order to have a clear understanding of different periods and groups of Shilang's image. To this article, the differences media morphsis between the governmental memory and the nongovernmental memory, and the pattern of memory present characteristics that from "identification type" to "be amplified". The existence of interactive relationship between the governmental memory and the nongovernmental memory, both contained interavailability, and also showed repression and resistance/acceptance. Influenced by media memory'internal mechanism and external conditions, Shilang'image showed different characteristics. Not only showed up changes in image under different periods standard, but also had fixed ancestor worship in the nongovernmental memory. The governmental memory used mainstream media, and the nongovernmental memory used ceremony and corporal practice to memory inheritance. It's all important way for shaping historical figure.
