Construction And Application Of Expert Academic Network Based On Multiple Data Sources

Recently,research on the different types of networks appear a growing trend such as social network,information network and biological network,etc.The network topology depends on the two nature of the academic network which were network type and cluster level.Network types include citation network,collaboration network,co-citation network,coupling network,thematic network,heterogeneous network and so on.Cluster level include document,author,institution,country,field and so on.Many researchers concentrate on the single network to study their properties used the theory and method of the complex network and social network and to mine the unique attributes of the academic network.This paper analyzes the current research status of both domestic and foreign academic experts network,using social network analysis and knowledge mapping method as the main method,puts forward a framework of expert academic network,explores its concept and construction process,and we apply it in the selection of scientific research cooperation experts and the selection of academic journals reviewers.Firstly,the paper discusses the important function of expert academic network in the current era,and puts forward the theoretical and practical significance of constructing expert academic network.Secondly,this paper expounds the theoretical basis of the expert academic network research.It analyzes the relevant theories of expert academic network,such as social network analysis,scientific measurement and so on.The concept and framework of expert academic network is explored.Thirdly,the construction of expert academic network.The paper specifically introduces description of the data contained in a variety of data sources,and how to complete the construction of expert academic network.Fourth,application research.According to actual needs of both the choice of scientific research cooperation object and the selection of academic periodical review experts,the paper selects data and according to the framework and process,it constructs and analyzes the network.Finally,the paper describes the research results and the existing problems,and prospects.The final result shows that,in the practical application,expert academic network based on multiple data sources contains more rich and complete information,which can reflect all the relation and its changes between experts and solve problems encountered in practice,the network has certain reference value about research partner's selection,academic periodicals reviewer selection in the actual work.
