The Economic Evaluation Of Internet Data Center Project To Hunan CATV Network Group

In recent years,as national strategic deployments such as “Broadband China” and “Internet +” are constantly deepened and the Internet and mobile Internet market develop rapidly,the total quantity of data information presents explosive growth.As an important infrastructure for the data information storage and processing of the Internet industry,Internet data center has become significant support of the overall industrial development and always been the strategic key point of the investment development of network operators.Therefore,Hunan CATV Network(Group)Co.,Ltd.,being a CATV network operator of Hunan Province,plans to start the investment and construction of an Internet Data Center so as to greatly develop Internet data business under the new form of “integration of three networks”.The necessity and economical efficiency of the investment and construction of this project is the key point of this thesis.First of all,this thesis describes related backgrounds and goals of Hunan CATV Network Group's investing and building the Internet Data Center.Then,based on the introduction of domestic and foreign evaluation theories of the economical efficiency,the thesis combines the actual situation of Hunan CATV Network Group with relevant theory and practice of the construction of the Internet Data Center and conducts investment estimation and earnings forecast of the project on the basis of the scale of the project's targeted users.Further on,an economic research of the project is carried out,including financial analysis,analysis of profitability,uncertainty analysis,social benefit analysis and analysis of risk and guarantee measures,etc.,which provides basis for the investment decision making of the project.By utilizing theories of economic evaluation and combining the actual situations of Hunan CATV Network Group,it is found that Hunan CATV Network Group's proposal of the investment and construction project of an Internet Data Center is of important significance to the long-term development of the group.Since the evaluation indicators of selected items also conform to the investment requirements,this thesis voices support for this project.In addition,possible risks in the investment and operation processes of the project are also predicted in this thesis and corresponding guarantee schemes are proposed.
