The Design And Implementation Of MBA Teaching Management System For Jinan University

When it comes to teaching, MBA has always emphasized the combination of theory and practice, especially students'practice skills so that they will have more advantages in future competition. Anyway, its main goal is to cultivate comprehensive and composite top-level professional masters for industrial and commercial enterprises. Unfortunately, with the rapid development of information technology and database technology as well as the continuous innovation and progress of the concept of teaching management, the traditional teaching management concepts and methods of MBA teaching are no longer able to meet the needs of today's modernization and information in colleges. Therefore, MBA Center of Jinan University has decided to develop a teaching activity management system, in order to strengthen the management of the MBA center students and enhance the abilities and skills of MBA students by the means of information technology.In the MBA Teaching Activity Management System for Jinan University, it uses SSH (Struts, Spring and Hibernate) development framework and MVC design mode combined to design and develop, following the main trends of Web application development. As for the development language, it adopts Java and uses JSP technology to design pages. The system chooses SQL SERVER 2014 as the database management system. Also, during the system's design process, it adopts object-oriented analysis and design methods, using UML standard modeling language to define every stage. For example, it applies user case method to describe the demand analysis stage. While at the design stage, it uses class diagram and sequence diagram to describe various system functions' detailed design.In the MBA Teaching Activity Management System for Jinan University, it mainly achieves five functions, which are basic information management and setting, educational administration, attendance management, practice management and evaluation management. The basic information management and setting function includes basic information management, system setting, system notification and system management. In the educational administration function, it has curriculum comprehensive management, grades comprehensive management, student educational administration and teaching management. The function of attendance management includes attendance comprehensive management and students' attendance management. In the practice management, it has practical links management and students' practice management. The function of evaluation management consists of evaluation comprehensive management, student evaluation management and teacher evaluation management.The use of MBA Teaching Activity Management System for Jinan University has strengthens the MBA teaching activities' management and supervision of the MBA center. Additional, not only facilitates the use of teaching resources for teachers and students, but also enhances the information construction of the campus, realizing the information management of information, attendance, courses, grades, and practice activities in colleges.
