With the development of economy and the increase of people's income, the number of private cars and industrial production vehicles quickly increased. Transportation and logistics industries have been the mainstay of the national economy, whick also have been the cause of city's traffic jam, low efficiency of vehicle scheduling. At the same time, the promulgation of the JT/T808 protocol is very helpful for the production and researching order of the vehicle monitoring, promoted the rapid and orderly development of the industry. Therefore, the research of logistics vehicle scheduling and monitoring of urban vehicles is of great significance. This paper designs and implements a vehicle monitoring system based on the JT/T808 protocol.Firstly, the overall scheme of the vehicle monitoring system is designed. Using an optimized topology, the system is divided into application server and communication server, cloud disk and vehicle terminal. And the relevant technology and software framework are summarized, as well as the JT/T808 protocol.Secondly, the detailed design and implementation of the application server system is carried out. Based on the analysis of the needs of the system,.Net MVC and Spring.Net framework is determined to be used in designing the framework and finishing the implementation. According to said layer(view layer, business logic layer(controller) and the database access layer(model layer of the hierarchy, business flow and data flow are designed. Douglas Peucker thinning algorithm is also applied to enhance the load performance of the system.Thirdly, the design and implementation of the communication server is carried out. WCF.NET is used to construct the communication server with JT/T808 protocol module. And the terminal pool technology and the conflict priority controling are used to optimize the load performance of the communication server based on.Finally, the vehicle monitoring system is deployed and tested. The test results show that the system functions meet the functional requirements of the JT/T808 protocol specification, and the system's actual terminal load capacity, system resource consumption level, system response speed, database throughput are able to meet the system design requirements.
