With the rapid development of car electronic information, the installation rate of the vehicleinformation terminal in the automobile market is getting higher and higher. For commercialvehicles state requires that vehicle information system with position information must beinstalled. Intelligent vehicle information terminal is an important basis of the car network in thefuture. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a vehicle information terminal which has a highperformance price ratio and also meet the communication protocol specification.Firstly, after the analysis of the development status of vehicle system, a design schemebased on ARM processor and Linux operating system as the core were putted, the hardwareplatform for the various devices and module selection have been completed, the platform and theframework of software development were determined. Secondly, the customization andtransplantation of vehicle terminal platform and the embedded operating system Linux werecompleted. Finally, the main data structure which the software required and the key algorithmwere designed, the detailed design of the software for the vehicle terminal was completed.Analytical reading terminal software includes GPS positioning information, send and receiveJT/T808protocol, task scheduling in distributed and execution, design of blind compensationfunction, establish the location information of the alarm task and yaw alarm model and algorithmbased on.By the practical car test, comply with JT/T808transport industry standard protocol thevehicle terminal realized the bidirectional communication with the server. The parsing-outposition information is transmitted to the monitoring center in real time. Instructions from themonitoring center can be analyzed exactly and get feedback quickly.
