With the fast development of national economy, the process of vehicle industrial and urbanization have entered a high-speed stage. The vehicle ownership is growing rapidly in the companies and enterprises. The traditional vehicle management method is time-consuming and laborious, and unable to get the vehicle information in a timely manner. As the number of cars increases, the management efficiency decreases significantly. The daily management of vehicles and the reasonable scheduling has become a widely concerned problem. Getting the vehicle information in real-time, is a key content of vehicle arrangement, safety management and vehicle scheduling. Therefore, the administrator need a vehicle monitoring device, that can acquire vehicle information and report to administrator automatically, protect the vehicle’s safety and report the abnormal information in time. Improve the vehicle management efficiency as far as possible by realizing the vehicle unified management.The vehicle monitoring terminal device described in this thesis has the functions about reporting the information of vehicle and monitoring the vehicles in real-time. It can make multiple security strategies based on different conditions of vehicles, detect hardware automatically, and report the alarm information from other modules. The administrator can control the vehicle monitoring terminal device by the network or sending text messages. The author participates in the requirement analysis of this project, and accomplishes the modules about initialization, system setting, security guarding, alarm reporting, RFID, GPS, GSensor and communication. The author also participates in the testing work. The character of the device is achieving vehicle license management by a combination of RFID technology and relay equipment. The RFID module can verify the radio frequency cards from the users, the validation result will affect the relay equipment on the vehicle starting system intervention. The administrator can control the vehicle by configuring the terminal device. In this project, the author solves the problem of keeping alive and disconnection processing about terminal equipment connected to the server, to detect the connection status of network by the heart return mechanism. To ensure the normal channels of communication and improve the stability of the device.The vehicle monitoring terminal device has passed an internal test and reached to a trial operation phase. Modules which are designed and implemented by the author are working normally. They not only meet the users’ demands, but also enable expansibility that helps system upgrade and expand.
