With the rapid process of the urbanization, the safety of water quality has became the major issues beneficial to the people's livelihood. It has important significance to provide accurate and reliable basis for water quality safety that integrating the latest information technology with the management of the water quality data to realize and grasp the statistical analysis and trend prediction timely.This paper first reserached the domestic and overseas status, key technology and application of the water quality data information systems. Then, the water quality information system is developed with B/S module.The whole article mainly includes three parts. Firstly, the business process, request and functions are analyzed in detail, and the MVC based B/S system architecure is confirmed. The request of database and the choices of its development platform and sorftware and hardware are also dicussed in this part. Then, the second part illustrated the outline design plan of the system based on the previous request analysis, including the sorftware design of the system architecture, user and role management and the structure of the database. At last, the realization and user interface design and visualization of the main software package and functions, such as, the underlying general database interface, the management and allocation of roles, the import and exprot of external data set, the statistical analysis and trend prediction of water quality data and so on,are also realized and illustrated in the third part. The functionaland non-functional test have demonstrated that the system has completed the full business request analysis and achieved the expected effect. The system effect about water quality analysis and prediction are also demonstreated in the last part.In the end, this article made a conclusion of the process of establishing water quality data information system, and the possible next improvement work is also listed and the wide application scenario is pointed out.
