With the progress of science and technology and the development of the society, new and high technology gradually entered the exhibition industry, which brings more material wealth and spiritual wealth. 3D dynamic floating ball matrix is a highlight of today's exhibition industry, it supported by music, color, lighting, formed a set of sound, light, color, shape, which integrates the dynamic demonstration system. Its scene is grand, and stereo sense is strong, which bring a strong visual impact to the audience and has a high economic benefit and social benefit. This paper mainly studied and designed the motion control system.Designed master-slave motion control scheme bases on PC- motion control card, realized the intelligent S curve movement of uniaxial and synchronous movement of multi-axis. Designed the gray-scale image control method, realized the coordination of the rhythm of the music, 3D dynamic image and light color. Adopted high subdivision drive which improved movement precision and responsiveness. Designed guide and slow transmission mechanism in the execution unit, which improved the stability of the small ball movement.Completed circuit design and realization of control system, designed input circuit, optical coupling circuit, segmentation and current regulating circuit of the high subdivision driver chip THB7125, and connection circuit of motion control card and drivers, photoelectric switch, relay, stop switch, which realized the reliability of the control system hardware. Finished the control software design and implementation, made the motion data, set up the parameters of motion control, edited the program of processing the motion data and sending control instruction.Completed test of the system, integrated and tested the PC module, the control unit module and execution unit module, with small float matrix system verified the feasibility of the control system scheme, realized the coordination of the rhythm of the music, 3D dynamic image and light color, achieved the perfect display effect.
