The steel balls as the main components in bearings,to a large extent,decide the bearing exercise accuracy and service life,a great deal of bearing experiments indicated: among bearing failure forms, the ones induced by crack and slit of steel ball surface which result from surface defect of steel ball account for 60%, that is to say, the surface quality of steel ball is one of important factors which are used to judge the performance of bearing, so surface quality of steel ball must be inspected in industry production. Although the domestic have done the extensive research in steel ball detection technology, the equipment applied to the ordinary steel ball's testing had not seen, domestic enterprises and Ball Bearing Factory mainly use the way of artificial hand seizing. In order to inspect and classify effectively surface defects of steel ball, an automatic inspecting instrument is urgently required. With the computer technology industry a wide range of applications and line detection based on machine vision technology, machine vision hardware already have had,such as computer's operating speed and resolution. Aimed at some problems existed in automatic inspection for steel ball surface defect, we developed the inspecting instrument based on machine vision detection technique, which is applied to detecting external bug area of steel ball.The main contents of this paper are based on image technology in the ball surface defect detector control system. Starting from the sphere surface ,setting up a mathematical model, theoretically clearing image detection technology is suitable for the surface of the ball to unfold. Based on this method , further study motion mode of the ball and its corresponding mechanical analysis, and then for the design of the ball's institutions to unfold had provided the ideas and theoretical support, at the same time of the completion of the design to unfold. Our entire system has been designed, Including the drive mechanism of the motor selection and control circuit design and software platform to build.In the stepper motor speed control,in order to avoid when starting out-of-step and when stopping the overshoot phenomenon, acceleration and deceleration phase of the stepper pulse frequency make the corresponding adjustments, which received very good results.In the process of the control system hardware platform to build, we have adopted a motion control card combining the overall control of single-chip mode,in the main control object,fully reflects the control card of the platform, high-precision advantage, play a minor part of the control of the price advantage of the single-chip microcomputer, so that the whole control system's accuracy and cost-effective achieve the most optimized. Then having discussed the process of system's software platform to build, and studied the specific control procedures, finally, through specific pilot verified the unfold and control system reliability. |
