NAND Flash has good read and write performance, while the shock resistance and power consumption significantly outperformed disks, NAND Flash in the field of handheld devices, enterprise users, servers and other popular, and gradually into areas such as personal PC, now showing the trend to replace the disk. However, NAND Flash is quite different from the magnetic disk in the limited number of erase, outplace update and the other physical properties. So the filesystem designed for magnetic disk is not suitable for NAND Flash. How to design a filesystem which takes full advantage of the physical properties of NAND Flash, has become a hot direction in today's file system research area.For questions set forth above, the paper investigates the latest developments at home and abroad related to the file system, and makes comparison. As ubifs has excellent performance and clear division of modules, we select ubifs as our main research file system. UBIFS has problems such as high garbage collection module's workload, wandering tree problem and long mount time, we propose the corresponding improvement scheme. We will give the contrast of the system performance and mount time in this paper's test part.Tests and analysis show that the improved UBIFS reduced write amplification, and improved garbage collection efficiency, and reduced the system mount time.
