Electronic universal testing machine is a type of standard instrument applied to obtain the mechanical properties of materials. It is widely used in aerospace, automotive, construction, and so on. With the increasing number of kinds of materials, the old style control software of electronic universal testing machine can't meet today's needs. Because most of them only support the most commonly used standards, and some others' control method is not flexible. For these reasons, we design an universal testing machine software which supports customized test methods and customized program control methods. So that the electronic universal testing machine can be used in more types of test.In this thesis, VS2010 serves as the development environment, and the software is based on MFC along with Access database. The entire development process follows the principles of software engineering, and uses Unified Modeling Language to model. Firstly, according to the principle of universal testing machine, the requirements of the software are analyzed, so as to clarify the objectives. Based on the results of the requirements phase, the software is divided into several modules, such as data acquisition, customized test methods, sample information management, data analysis module etc. The three-layer architecture and the running architecture of the software are described. Then the detailed design and implementation of important function in the software is analyzed. Some critical functions present the realization of the code segment.Finally, a platform is built to verify the requirement, and the test results as well as the related analysis are given. Conclusion can be drawn that the control software can operate reliably, and can meet the needs of industry. At the end of the thesis, the work is summarized and the thesis prospect the direction of future development and research.
