Research And Implementation Of RF And Comformance Test Technologies Of Animal RFID TAGS Based On PXIe Instruments

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)technology which can realize the non-contact transfer of information and automatically identify the target object through the radio frequency signal coupling in the space.In this paper we researched on the key technologies of RF and conformance test based on animal tag standard.We realized the R&D of RFID test system on the platform of NI's PXIe modular instruments.And the main research work is as follows.Firstly,the basic principles of RFID system working at 134.2kHz are studied.In this system, inductive coupling is applied by the reader to transfer energy and data to the responder,on the other hand,the responder transfers its binary data to the reader via load modulation.We give the time domain and power spectrum expression of ASK signal based on a detailed mathematical derivation.And all these principles set a solid foundation for the designing of physical layer.Secondly,ISO 11784/5,ISO 14223 standards are researched.The transponder uses a modified DBP encoded sub-carrier which is amplitude modulated upon the radio frequency carrier. The structure of the identification telegram includes a header,a 64bits identification code, CRC16 and the 24 trailer bits.As to ISO 11784 standard,we studied the 64 bits animal code.And communications between transceiver and transponder take place using ASK modulation and pulse interval encoding.And the request consists of SOF,flags,command,parameters,data,CRC and EOF.Thirdly,the prototype of RFID system based on animal tag standard is realized on PXIe-5641R platform.At first,we gave a brief introduction of the hardware and software architectures of RFID test system.Then we described the transmitter which includes the framing part,CRC part,encoding and modulating part.At last,an algorithm for adaptive pulse signal synchronization for the tag response signal is proposed.At last,we realized the whole RFID test system which consists of the RF parameters test module and protocol conformance test module.And the RF parameters test module includes of pulse testing,data testing,signal constellations testing and Joint Time-Frequency Analysis.The protocol conformance test module includes of tag responding data testing and six commands testing.
