In recent years, with the development of IOT (Internet of Things) technology, the market based on the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technologies is growing. RFID has been proposed as the solution to the real-time asset visibility problem in numerous supply chain, health-care, and manufacturing applications. In order to satisfy the requirements of practical applications of RFID technology, we must construct a real-time test system for RFID technology with high performance. In this paper we study the conformance test technology of ISO 14443B RFID tags, then design and implement the RFID test system basing on PXIe module instruments of NI Company.Firstly, we introduce the development of RFID technology and the way of people’s living has been changed. Research the current situation of RFID test at home and abroad. With the rapid expansion of RFID technology and virtual instruments technology, we need RFID test system with high-performance and software- customizable.Secondly, research the RFID system which works at high frequency range. Introduce the basic framework and the key technologies in communication process. Including inductive coupling theory and subcarrier load modulation. Then, discuss the problems we may meet in RFID applications.Thirdly, research the ISO 14443B protocol in detail, including Physical Layer and Data Link Layer. For Physical Layer, research the communication link between Reader and Tag, including frequency, operating field, signal interface and modulation. For Data Link Layer, research the frame format, timing, CRC verify, state transition of Tags, command set and tag response.Fourthly, construct the RFID test system basing on the NI PXIe modular instruments. The hardware of system use NI PXIe module, the software consists of host test module and RFDI prototype. The prototype consists of three parts, including transmitter, receiver and MAC module. Transmitter group and transmit command data, receiver receive baseband data and decode, MAC module control transmitter and receiver to work and transfer the decoded data to the host.At last, complete the whole test system by adding testing control module and test module to the RFID prototype. Configure the parameters of instruments using instrument driver module. Exchange datas using data exchange module. Test module includes comformance test and performance test, the paper explain theory, programming and test result of every test item.In a word, the RFID test system in this peper is real-time interactive, flexible and extensible.
