Design And Implementation Of International Education Management System

Globalization and the enthusiasm to study abroad lead a demand of international education management system with friendly interface and high efficiency to speed up the collection of students' information and execution of decision and to serve university and students well. If the entrance policy is changed to “application entrance system” in the future, this system can be reused directly for helping the country to find the talent and helping students to realize China Dream.This thesis is based on open-sourced PHP technology and combined with Zend Framework and Oracle Database technology to do the research on international education management system, which will realize the functions of students' information management, the application of new student and exchange student, the application of internship and the data calculation, etc. This system will support the user to do the decision through information collected and calculated in it in changeable environment of society and education market.This study mainly includes the following researches:1. Demands Analysis: this thesis analyzes the current status of international education management system inside and outside China, by research and implementation aspect. It shows how to improve the situation in China. After carefully analyzing the demands of student, the university staff, the admission committee and the system administrator, the thesis will use UML Tools to divide four domains, build the models of the workflow, business entities and use-case scenarios and then confirm the scope of system, data structure and main functions.2. Based on the analysis of demand, then the application environment, developing cost and the characteristics of the system, this article chooses the network structure of B/S, the system architecture of Zend Framework. Through the statement of system's class diagrams and the code of key functions, the operation principle of the system will be presented. After that, the function structure and database will be designed, which based on relation, and including data model and data dictionary. Then the main security policies will be chosen and determined to ensure the high usability of the system.3. According to the design of the structure, the thesis will choose suitable developing tools, software and hardware to realize the system. Some key parts of the system, the testing strategy and conclusion will be introduced after that, including black and white box test. Then the realization effect of the system will be shown and some key parts will be illustrated at the final part.Through the analysis of the study, the management of student will be electronized; the daily workflow and management system will be standardized; the information will be integrated and shared; the level of management and ability of facing changeable environment of society and education market will be improved.
